Title of Program:Associate Degree of the College of the Canyons

Brief introduction of the College of the Canyons:
College of the Canyons(COC)is a two-year public community college that combines an excellent education system with a mature transfer system. COC is accredited by the Western Association of Colleges and Schools (WASC). It has become one of the most popular community colleges in California because of its secure and comfortable study environment. Due to its outstanding teaching quality and the top 5 successful transfer rates in California, it has also become the top community college in the United States.

 

 

Study Abroad Project:
To get an Associate's Degree Diploma from the College of the Canyons, you must complete 60 credits in total as shown below:
30 credits of online courses assisted by the American Language Village + one year of COC on-campus courses to complete the other 30 credits of courses.
Two objectives after the degree is achieved:
1. Get the opportunity to work legally in the U.S. for one year with OPT, but must be related to the industry you have studied.
2. 2. With the COC associate degree diploma, you may apply for the entry of the UC and CSU systems to connect with the junior/third-year course according to personal academic performance.
COC has signed a 2+2 transfer agreement with the institutions under the UC and CSU systems. About 7600 students successfully attend to the UC/CSU institutes each year.



Why choose COC as your first step?

Begins taking the COC online courses in the eleventh grade and completing 30 credits in the two years. Then, you may directly proceed to the College of the Canyons to complete another 30 credits once you have graduated from high school. After completing 60 credits in total, you may get the opportunity to work legally in the U.S. (must be related to the industry you have studied) or continue to study.
